Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Car One Logistics LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, auto transport quotes, and vehicle shipping services.
By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or utilizing any of our vehicle transport services, you (“Customer,” “Shipper,” or “Client”) agree to be bound by the terms set forth below. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with booking our services.
1. Services Provided
Car One Logistics LLC operates as a licensed and bonded auto transport broker and carrier service provider. We arrange, schedule, and facilitate nationwide vehicle shipping for individuals, automotive dealerships, commercial fleets, and specialty vehicle owners using open carriers, enclosed trailers, and specialized hauling equipment.
2. Quotations & Booking Commitments
- Quotes: All estimates and quote calculations provided via our website, email, or phone are based on vehicle specifications, distance, route accessibility, seasonal demand, and current fuel prices.
- Accuracy: Rates are subject to adjustment if the vehicle details provided by the customer (such as modifications, weight, height, or operational condition) differ from actual vehicle conditions upon pickup.
- Deposit & Payments: A deposit or full payment agreement is required to secure a pickup slot with an assigned carrier. Remaining balances are due upon delivery or as specified in your shipping contract.
3. Vehicle Preparation & Responsibilities
The customer agrees to prepare the vehicle properly prior to carrier pickup:
- Cleanliness & Inspection: The vehicle must be clean enough to perform a detailed visual inspection at both origin and destination.
- Personal Items: Vehicles should not be used to transport heavy personal belongings or cargo unless explicitly authorized in writing. Car One Logistics LLC and carrier drivers are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
- Operational Status: Customers must disclose beforehand whether the vehicle is in non running, inoperable, or modified status (e.g., lowered suspension, oversized tires).
- Alarms & Toll Devices: All security alarms must be deactivated, and automated toll transponders/passes should be removed or shielded prior to transit.
4. Inspection & Bill of Lading (BOL)
- Both origin pickup and destination delivery require a joint visual inspection between the carrier driver and the customer (or designated agent).
- Results are documented on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Any pre existing damage must be noted prior to transport. Upon delivery, any newly claimed damage must be clearly noted on the BOL before signing. Signing the BOL without noting damage constitutes full acceptance of the vehicle in good condition.
5. Transport Schedules & Delays
While we strive for prompt door to door delivery, pickup and delivery dates provided are estimates. Transit times can be affected by weather conditions, road closures, traffic congestion, mechanical issues, or regulatory weigh station stops. Car One Logistics LLC is not liable for indirect costs or inconvenience resulting from unforeseen transit delays.
6. Carrier Insurance & Claims
- Vehicles in transit are covered under the assigned carrier’s commercial auto transport cargo insurance policy.
- Insurance coverage applies to physical transit damage caused directly by carrier negligence or accident.
- Insurance does not cover pre existing damage, act of God weather events (hail, floods, falling trees), stone chips, or mechanical/electrical malfunctions unrelated to transit accidents.
- In the rare event of a claim, all claims must be submitted in writing within the required claims window along with photographs and signed BOL copies.
7. Cancellations & Refund Policy
- Customers may cancel an order at any time prior to a carrier being dispatched without penalty.
- If a cancellation request is submitted after a carrier has been scheduled and dispatched for pickup, cancellation fees or deposit retentions may apply to compensate driver logistics costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Car One Logistics LLC, its managers, officers, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service use, transit delays, or third party carrier operations beyond our direct control.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
