Quotes, Pricing & Payments

How are vehicle shipping rates calculated?

Transport costs depend on several key factors, including total route distance, vehicle size and weight, whether the car is operable or inoperable, seasonal transport demand, and your choice of open or enclosed shipping.

No. At Car One Logistics LLC, we pride ourselves on honest, transparent pricing. The quote you receive includes carrier fees, cargo insurance coverage, and direct customer support—no surprise surcharges.

We recommend scheduling your shipment at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred pickup window and competitive pricing. However, if you need urgent transport, we also accommodate expedited shipping requests based on carrier availability.

Vehicle Preparation & Safety

Is my vehicle insured during transit?

Yes. Every shipment booked through Car One Logistics LLC is backed by comprehensive commercial carrier cargo insurance from pickup through final delivery.

Preparing your car is quick and simple:

  • Clean your vehicle inside and out to allow for a thorough visual inspection at pickup.
  • Remove all personal belongings, loose items, and toll passes/transponders.
  • Ensure the gas tank is roughly 1/4 full.
  • Deactivate all anti theft alarm systems.
  • Document pre existing minor scratches or dents with photos for your records.

Auto transport carriers are licensed exclusively to transport vehicles, not household goods. Leaving heavy personal items inside your car adds extra weight, which can violate transport weight limits or lead to item damage that is not covered by carrier insurance.

Delivery & Customer Support

Do I need to be present at pickup and delivery?

Yes, either you or a designated representative (aged 18 or older) must be present at both pickup and delivery to complete the pre shipment and post delivery visual inspections and sign the Bill of Lading (BOL).
